Automatic Web Page Generator

Hi,

I'm trying to find a freeware or shareware script or something that will
allow me to let users build low profile WebPages on my site.

I'm building a website for my motorcycle club and we want to allow members
to be able to post a small picture and a brief profile that they can post to
the website in their own directory.

I've searched everywhere and cannot find anything that will help me do this
for less than $250.

HELP!!!!!

I've been thinking of doing something similar for my diving club. Instead
of folders on the server, though, I'm expecting to use a database to hold
the "profile" text and a path-string to where the relevant image will be
stored. Users will use a form (perhaps with a bit of JavaScript to browse
for the image file) to upload their details, and another form to browse or
search for entries. Forms will be handled by ASP code on the server, but
you could use PHP and MySQL if you prefer. I believe you could also do this
quite simply if you have FrontPage and a server with the FrontPage Server
Extensions installed. Just thought I'd mention this alternative approach.

There are loads of CMS's out there ranging from Free to £100k.

You really need to pin down you requirements, so you can repost a more
targeted question.

Do you simple want a profile system? Nothing else on the wishlist?
Do you have any development skills (re: dynamic sites), for example ASP or
PHP? Or are you simply after an Off-the-shelf application?
What kind of hosting package do you have? Can you indeed use ASP/PHP (or
other) code?
What databases can you use?

If you have any development skills (or want to aquire some) you can easily
build your own customised app, in next to no time. It's not a complicated
application.

Write yourself a wishlist... tell us what you can, and we'll try to point
you in the right direction.
