using css to load pages within the same window of the browser

Hi All

I really need help and want to know if it is possible to firstly like when you use frames have one page load into the part that you speicfy. In other words the current page is then replaced by the new page. This is all done when you click on a link that is set up using a nav bar.

I need t know if you can use css to do this. I have seen similar things but new to this and not sure where to start.

Please if anyone can give me an urgent response.
