Displaying Unicode Characters in HTML

Hello ,

I have an issue in displaying the Cyrillic Characters in HTML page
for e.g -
i want to display a cyrillic Character string
'АAБBВVГGДDЕEЖZЗZИIКKЛLМMНNОOПPРRСSТTУUФFХHЦZЧHШSЩ SЭAЮUЯIЬ"Ъ"ЙY'
but it is not displaying them as the same on html page ,it is changing them to some other characters like -

'ABVGDEZZIKLMNOPRSTUFHZHS SAUI""Y'.

How can i keep them same when displaying on page?is there any way put?
pls help..

REPLACE 'Ш' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'Sh' respecting case.
REPLACE 'ш' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'sh' respecting case.

REPLACE 'Щ' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'Sсh' respecting case.
REPLACE 'щ' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'sсh' respecting case.

REPLACE 'Ж' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'Zh' respecting case.
REPLACE 'ж' IN p_text_cyrillic WITH 'zh' respecting case.

REPLACE 'Ч' IN p_text_english WITH 'Ch' respecting case.
REPLACE 'ч' IN p_text_english WITH 'ch' respecting case.

Are you using a character code with the page?

Try this:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. <html>
  2. <head>
  3. <meta http-equiv="Content-Type" content="text/html; charset=utf-8">
  4. <title>Test</title>
  5. </head>
  6. ...
  7. </html>
  8.  
This line should fix your problem and display the characters.
