<SELECT> border:0px possible ?

is it possible to change the border thickness/color etc. on a <SELECT> box ?

CSS border-* properties. Browsers support is variable.

there's no garantuee that this works. Browsers which are using the
controls of the operating system may not be able to change the browser.
A good example Are several browsers for MacOSX. Apple's "Aqua"
appearance doesn't have any simple "borders" which can be changed by
CSS. So under MacOSX there's good chance that you can not change
borders, background colors etc. of form controls at all.
