Newb needs help

Hi! There is a section on my webpage that needs some formatting done.
Currently I'm displaying some information at the top of the page using
<pre class="....">...</pre> I have this working to the fonts that I
want displayed. My problem is that I'm loading a piece of data (the
body of the document) from my database which is a long string of html.
I load this information into the document and of course it doesn't
follow the same fonts as the information at the top of my page. I want
the body of the document to follow the same fonts using the same css.
I can't change the way I store the data into the database. I MUST find
a way to use the <pre class...> with a command that will allow the rest
of the page to follow the same css. My last resort would be to do a
find & replace on the tag <html> and maybe append "class..." to that.

Example of what it looks like:

<pre class=format>
Name: Bond
Site: Google
</pre>
<---- body starts here (from database) ----->
<html>
<table>....</table>
<p>
blah blah blah... this is the body of the document!
</html>

Any suggestions would be great! Thanks!
