a.link:visited not working in FireFox

http://www.TheBicyclingGuitarist.net/css/index.css
I have red nav buttons that turn blue when hovered over and turn purple
after being visited. The red and blue work in FireFox, but not the visited
color. How can I fix this? It's always worked in MSIE cough cough.

It's for my index page http://www.TheBicyclingGuitarist.net/index.htm

Have you changed something since posting? It turned purple for me in
FireFox.

Thank you Sally for replying. I have FireFox too and when I return to the
home page all the buttons are red. None of the visited links are purple in
FireFox on my machine. At least it works for other people, but why isn't it
working that way on my machine? Puzzling.

It "works" correctly here to...
(in Mozilla and Firefox as was the question).

Check your own browser config for use of color options on links, length
of saved history and eventual cache/history purge on application close,
for a start.
