How does one make a flat-looking button or text field? That is with no bevelled
edges, maybe just a thin line on the edge?
I know you can do it with Macromedia Flash but there must be other ways.
I know you could use an image button but this wouldn't have any client-side

I have a site that lists my auctions on the main page. I use a
JavaScript to call an iframe to display the auction item until the
auction is over. Then it displays the eBay button (or nothing, if I

charset=????????"> tag, what is the best charset to use? I tend to use
UTF-8, for no reason other than it sounds much cooler than iso-8859-1 etc

map website (www.whereis.com.au). Basically, the page asks you for a street

I'm trying to find the best way to allow web visitors to download text
files (.txt, .wri & .zap file extensions).
I'm having some luck. I say some because the open/save box opens with IE
but not Netscape. On Netscape rather than give the user the save option

I am trying to write a web page that includes a link to an ftp server

I use this link, it fails in Internet Explorer when you click on it.
