It's controls a */dll and others files.

So if is posibly the programs run before the system is load
To start before the system is loadnig, you know when show the picture of Windows and the progressbar. By the way if you are using Vista(I use) it dont have picture of Vist it's have just a Progressbar

I can move this thread to somewhere else if you (or the OP) wants. Where should I put it?
I've moved it to Software Development. I'll check with the Admins and see whether they agree.

I already read that one. Also the page about kernels I already read. The only problem for me to go on is the lack of knowledge of C++ (and assembly would come in handy to). But I'm starting to work on that.

I don't know about VACE but i know about myself that i know what a OS is.
Because now days in our univ we are studying OS and doing work on C/C++ and after a month we will start working Assembly as well.
So i think we ll be able to make an OS of our own some day.
And i also know that this is a very difficult job. But those are also people like us who made other OS. SO cant we make an OS?
We need to be expert in C/C++ and Assembly as well in others and we will.

So thanx a lot for your link it ll helpful for us.

I think the problem is that when, for example, Steve Wozniak created Apple DOS while on an intercity flight, an OS didn't need to do very much. (After all, who had ever seen one? You could throw together a "model T" OS and everyone would stand around gaping in awe.)

These days, the majority of people use things like Windows Vista and various Linux distributions, which have evolved over many years of work by people who (presumably) understand operating systems. So any OS you build now, to be of any use, would need to do a lot. To be taken at all seriously, it would need to be at least as good as the flakier of the Linux distros.

Well even if it doesn't work out, I'd bet we will have learned some new things.

I just want to make something that is good and the people will love to use. And it's enough for the BILL GAITS jacking whit OS. Is time for something good.

PS: I know what is OS (I'm 14 years and i'm expert in programming language. I have learn VB for 5 months in slow mode of learning and I'm a virus writer if you wnow)

I won't be on MSN anymore. I just don't need it anymore. It's has gone completely out of my habits. So if you need to tell me something, post here, or PM me.

PS: it's written "guys", not "gays", because that has a completely different meaning. :P

My well-heeled clients would like a tool that I could build into a web application that would suck down the entire contents a remote webpage and store it on a local filesystem. Overview: Windows 11 and 10 have less user interface control over operating system update behaviour than previous versions of Windows. In Windows 11 and 10, there is no way to turn off the Windows Update option using the Control Panel or Settings app; it automatically checks for updates and installs any it finds, whether you like it or not. For...
