Transaction Ended- application agentid 0

1 New Member
Hi,

We are encountering frequent deadlock- timout issues in QA Databases.Further looking into the lock snapshot, it seems that there is an agentID with appl hande ID as 0 and also we are not able to force this agent off.

Application handle = 0
Application ID = AC15A814.P0A5.071219044747
Sequence number = 028ANPISDRUW RUW
Application name = db2jccServlet.EngineAC15A814.P0A5.071219044747
CONNECT Authorization ID = RUW
Application status = Transaction Ended
Application code page = 1208
Total wait time (ms) = 0

List Of Locks
Lock Name = 0x00050200048940050000000052
Lock Attributes = 0x00000000
Release Flags = 0x00000002
Lock Count = 1
Hold Count = 0
Lock Object Name = 76103685
Object Type = Row
Mode = NS

The one solution at this point of time is restarting the database, but can any one recommend any long term solution for resolving this issues.

First we thought that it is the problem with NEXT KEY share lock,so we have set the registry parameter DB2_RR_TO_RS =YES.But still the problem persists.

The DB2 UDB version is :
------------------------------------

DB21085I Instance "instat" uses "64" bits and DB2 code release "SQL08022" with
level identifier "03030106".
Informational tokens are "DB2 v8.1.1.89", "OD_14086", "U800789_14086", and
FixPak "9".
Product is installed at "/usr/opt/db2_08_FP9".

The OS :
