Executing stored procs directly on mainframe

P: n/a
Hi all -

Not sure if this question has been asked before (I searched but
couldn't find anything) but is there a way to directly execute a
stored procedure directly on the mainframe?

In a DB2 command line tool - i.e., from Windows or from UNIX - I can
get into the db2 command line tool and do something like

db2 =CALL SYSPROC.ZLL2112K ('123456789',?,?)

This would return the result set directly to the command prompt -
i.e., something like:

RETCODE: 0
RETMSG: ** SQL SUCCESS ... RETURNED ZLLMAIN USER ID
**

I_INT_USERID ASSIGN_FLAG
R14302AA N

"ZLL2112K" RETURN_STATUS: 0

db2 =>

Is there something similiar that can be done directly on the mainframe
- i.e., through TSO, QMF, etc?

Thanks!
