Yellowfin BI Suite are now validated on IBM's popular DB2 9 database

Yellowfin International today announced that Yellowfin has joined
IBM's Partner Program, and that the Yellowfin BI Suite are now
validated on IBM's popular DB2 9 database. This partnership opens new
markets for Yellowfin, and provides IBM and its partners with an
attractive opportunity to expand its presence in international markets
and in the small- and medium-sized (SMB) business market.

Yellowfin and IBM have a shared commitment to open standards and J2EE
technology. Yellowfin's architecture and portability allow Yellowfin
to run on all of IBM's platforms that support Java including iSeries,
pSeries, and xSeries servers, and allow Yellowfin to leverage IBM's
deep expertise and market awareness in key vertical industries like
Financial Services, Insurance, Manufacturing, Wholesaling and others.

"DB2 and WebSphere integrated into Yellowfin's BI suite is a great
example of bringing a solution to the market that provides great value
for customers," said Roshan Unantenne, System I Solutions Manager,
IBM DB2. "This combination demonstrates the opportunity and value of
open standards and service oriented architecture software mashing with
IBM's commercial-grade information management and data storage
technologies."

Yellowfin will also be demonstrating the joint solution at IBM's
"Interaction" conference series. IBM Interaction conference is the
premier i-series event for business and IT executives, managers,
professionals, DBAs and developers. Senior representatives from
Yellowfin's technical and business development teams will attend the
conference to showcase the solution and answer business or technical
inquiries.

"For both business and technical reasons, DB2 is a natural
environment for us to support," said Glen Rabie, CEO of Yellowfin.
"This partnership reinforces IBM and Yellowfin's shared commitment
to open standards and service oriented business intelligence."

About Yellowfin
Unlike traditional tools Yellowfin is making BI easy. Yellowfin
supports wider distribution across the organisation through ease of
use, ease of deployment and ease of integration into production
applications and through a minimal end user learning curve.
