FCM_NUM_BUFFERS

DB2 ESE v8.1 Fixpak 10

For a single partition database, with INTRA_PARALLEL=NO
does FCM_NUM_BUFFERS have any effect on performance?

After reading DB2 Magazine Tuning Up for OLTP and Data Warehousing, I
was confused.

Anyone can help me clearify this?
Thanks.

No, it does not apply in this situation.
