v8 cursor positioned update causes SQL4903N error

I have a program that has been running without any problems on v7 for
quite some time, but now I'm trying to port it to v8 and am getting an
error in a positioned update in a cursor. The error I'm getting is,
"SQL4903N The length of parameter "runtime_pid" of function
"sqlastrt_trusted" is not valid." I've seen people having problems
with this in v7, but nobody using v8. I'm running with fixpack 9. Any
help would be greatly appreciated.

What kind of development environment/language are you using?
SPL, Java, Embedded/C?
Client on the same machine?

Did you try to test the cursor in Stor. Proc. or command line?

I'm using embedded C on a 64-bit Linux platform. That is another
difference. The v7 version was only 32-bit.
The client is on the same machine, and the program is being executed on
the same machine it was compiled on.
I haven't yet had a chance to test the cursor outside of the program.
