Net Search Extender Problems

Hi all,

This is what happens...

When i try

db2text start
CTE0185 The update and locking services are already active.

db2text control status
CTE0184 No db2text start command was issued.

I did execute the samples

nsesample.bat test

And when i saw the nsesample.log everything was fine except for

db2text update index DB2EXT.COMMENT for text
CTE0184 No db2text start command was issued.

db2text update index DB2EXT.HTMLIDX for text
CTE0184 No db2text start command was issued.

ofcourse the bat file did a db2text start before executing the
commands..

Before all this

Whenever i do a db2text start i was getting a error saying "there are
temporary problems starting or updating locking services"

And i noticed the DB2EXT - DB2 was set to be started manual and i
changed it to automatic, and started it.

Am i missing something...

Ok... lemme add few more things..

When i try to accomplish the same tasks in control center it works

For example:
Updating an index using control center is successfull but when i copy
and paste the same command that was found in show command window..
it gives an error saying db2text start no issued.
