DB2 V8 FP7 problem

Hi,

I'm running DB2 PE on Windows XP Home edition.

I downloaded FP7 (DB2 8.2) from the IBM ftp site and try to create a
database. It fails when using the AUTOCONFIGURE option with the
following message:

CREATE DATABASE GERTTEST ON D: AUTOCONFIGURE USING MEM_PERCENT 19
APPLY DB ONLY
SQL0444N Routine "db2CfgSg" (specific name "SQL040821143322710") is
implemented with code in library or path "\db2sg", function
"db2CfgSg" which cannot be accessed. Reason code: "4". SQLSTATE=
42724
DB210207E Unable to autoconfigure "GERTTEST". Creation of database
"GERTTEST" failed.
I monitored file io (with Filemon) and it indeed looks like DB2
couldn't find db2sg.dll. It isn't in the installation CAB files also.

I'm wondering if this really is the official fixpack and if anybody
else did run into the same problem.

Kind regards, Gert

Fixpack 7 is not yet released. Based on the announcement letter
published on Tuesday, I'd say FP7 will be released on October 29.

Did you download the Stinger beta code?

Oops, or maybe I'm wrong. Strange that code is on the FTP site.
