update on running db2 8.1 on rh enterprise server v3.0

Hi all,

I'm still running my DB2 database on RH 7.2 boxes and I'd really like
to get the OS upgrade to the latest release. Anyone know what the
situation is re runniong 8.1 on the latest Red Hat enterprise server
release?
TIA

It's supported. See:

For full details and requirements.

Alex,

It is now supported, but you may also want to consider SuSE Enterprise Linux
as an alternative.

At the time we went to V8 RHAS 3 was not yet supported, so we went with SLES
8 and have been very happy with it (we were becoming unhappy with the way
Red Hat was going anyway).
