Is relational connect already integrated to DB2 UDB v7.2 base code?
I would like to connect or configure federated system to other DB2 UDB
databases (DB2 to DB2).
Yes and no. Relational Connect is a separate license used to connect to
non IBM sources.
You should be able to connect to DB2 and, if I recall correctly to
Informix, without the need for Relational Connect.
There are ample of whitepapers on federated on developerWorks, btw.
