UDB's scheduler keeps going to sleep resulting in automation not running.

We use UDB V8.xx's task center to schedule all manner of automation to
run, both OS commands and DB/SQL commands. We are having a problem
where UDB's scheduler will simply stop, and none of our automation
runs. No errors can be found in the logs or event viewer. Simply put,
it just stops. To get the automation running again a db2damin stop and
start must be issued then things will be OK until the next time it
decides to take a nap. All other DB functions and controls seem to be
unaffected. Has anyone else out there had to deal with this problem?
