bookmark in resultset

hello , we are using db2 udb v8.1 win64bit. i read the doc there is a
term named bookmark in result set terminology in CLI applications.

our application use java jdbc driver and normal sql query, is there
same kind of concept in sql terminology? so i can open a resultset,
bookmark it? thanks

This normally done with scrollable cursors.

Not sure what you could do in SQL - putting the result set in a DECLARED
GLOBAL TEMPRARY table is the easiest, but if the user modifies the data,
they're not acting on the base table.
