Directshow C++ - gigalink stream from lan as source

3 New Member
Hey everyone, good to be here

I'm developing a C++ application using directshow to handle video operations

I need to handle 3 video sources:

1. File on local machine - Done.
2. External device - Done
3. Gigalink stream from LAN - ??? i need your help on this one...

What is this Gigalink format ? are there any existing direcshow filters that can handle this format ?

Any help on this subject will be greatly appreciated

With thanks
Oded

Why are you asking the same question at http://forums.microsoft.com/MSDN/Sho...12963&SiteID=1 ?

They told you it was gigalinx and you said you were going to check it out.

Well, what did you find out??

hello

Being a former army intelligence man, i posted the question in several sites for as much information as possible :)

As i said there, i'm checking it out, i'm waiting for answers from the "customer" who defined the video sources. Once he comes back to me i'll post the answer here.

Tnx for the help
