good windows IDE ?

please suggest a good (and free offcourse !) IDE for a project
involving c++ and tcl/tk programming on windows.

It would be wiser to ask in a Windows programming newsgroup or in
TCL/TK programming newsgroup (if any).

Also, if you already have two in mind, why are you looking for
more suggestions? If you already have hard time selecting from
the two choices, selecting from more choices will be simply
more difficult, unless of course you think that there is another
IDE much better than those two and yet still unknown to you...

Hi,

Though eclipse is an excellent IDE I prefer VS if programming C++ for
windows.

Questions pertaining to any particular platform, like Windows, would
best be submitted to a relevant newsgroup.
And perhaps a newsgroup involving Dev environments.
