microcontroller for ceiling fan

please can any one help me with C++ code for controlling a ceiling fan using any microcontroller.well i am a novice not even a beginner in programming.I am trying to get a program that can switch on and off and change speed from 1 to 3. Thanks for your cooperation,i just need helpm please

Sure, what do you have so far?

You say novice - do you know basic program structure (libraries, functions, main()) ?

What do you have so far? Where are you having trouble?
