Pass C++ string back to VB calling function

Hello
I'm completely new to C++ and VB programming. I am working on a Visual Studio 6 application that passes values from VB to C++ methods using BSTR conversions. Within the C++ code I am populating a TCHAR string and want to pass this value back to the VB calling function as an [out] parameter.

When I try to compile the code I am getting the error:
"C2440 cannot convert from 'char [200]' to 'const unsigned short *'.
Types pointed to are unrelated; conversion requires reinterpret_cast."

The code I have looks a bit like this:
STDMETHODIMP <NAME>::<Function>(BSTR param1, BSTR param2...., BSTR strOutParam)
// where strOutParam is my out parameter I want to populate

<variable declarations...
TCHAR strPopulatedHere[200];
>

USES_CONVERSION;

strOutParam=OLE2T(strPopulatedHere); //This line gives the error

Please can someone give me some guidance.
Many thanks.
