Retrieving a character from a CString

79
Hello,

Is it possible to retrieve a character from a CString using an index?

I have a CString and I have used the Find() function to retrieve the index of a certain sub string. I want to find out what there is in the character before that index, so I want to use the index-1 value to see what is stored in that location of a CString.

How can this be done?

I know, I read that, and that's what I had initially. It didn't work though, so I thought I was missing something.

I got it to work now...it turned out that there was another function that did something to the CString, causing the program to crash whenever it accessed that same CString after it has been changed.
