I'm sorry for wasting your time with this question, but I just can't figure it out.
Every time I run my program in the DEV-C++ 4.9.9.2 compiler, it gives me this error:
ISO C++ forbids comparison between pointer and integer
Here is my code:
Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. // ...
  2. length = original.length();
  3. cout << length;
  4. position = 1;
  5. while (position != length + 1)
  6. {
  7.    original[position] = letter;
  8.    if (letter == "a")
  9.    {
  10.       std:stringstream out;
  11.       out << a;
  12.       string originalTwo(out.str());
  13.       encryptedString += originalTwo;
  14.    }
  15.    position = position + 1;
  16. }
  17. // ...
Thank you for your time and help.
