CL compiler options

5 New Member
Hi all,

I am new CL compiler user. Can anybody please tell me, what is the option for static linking and dynamic linking for linking the libraries? Please give an example, if possible.

Thanking you in advance.

The question does not make sense, there is not option for static/dynamic linking.

You just include all the required objects and libraries (*.lib) on the linker line (or in the case of cl c/cpp files and libraries.

If you want the option to be a DLL rather than an EXE then you use the option /DLL to the linker (or /LD to cl)
