SONY computers - are they Factory infected

Do SONY computers come factory-infected?

It is now known that SONY music CDs will ask a user to install a 'player' to
review the CD's content. SONY installs a rootkit like stealth payload of
malware that deeply infests the system along with the player.

But SONY just doesn't sell music CDs. SONY sells computers. And it seems to
be an obvious question, does SONY pre-infest each unit with its diseased
shitware - or does it leave it to the user for when she/he goes to play a
SONY music CD?

--

Beware SONY Music CDs.
They contain "viewers" that are actually
rootkit like malware that are near impossible to
remove.

Please keep this out of comp.lang.c++ -- it's off-topic here.
Thank you.
