Who can see posters's ip addresses

On groups like this who can see posters' IP addresses ????...pLease
let me know..

Is it Craig M only, who else? How about Kate G ? Brad J ? etc Please
tell me whoh can ? please...

It depends on the NNTP server they post through. Some (especially the
free or mass market ones) add the Posting Host IP Address...others don't.
It's up to the site admininistrator.

If the NNTP server they post through puts it there EVERYBODY can see it
(provided they turn on all the headers in their news reader).

Some sites seem to put a encrypted or otherwise obfuscated tracking record
in the posts so that they can trace spamming or other bad customers without
exposing the privacy of the customer to general scruitiny.

You are really off-topc with that question.
But what the hack.

The answer is: anybody can.
A newsgroup posting is just a simple plain text, just
as god ment text to be (not that HTML crap, that some
companies think they have to include everywhere and
which just has opened the global virus wormhole).

Any better newsreader can show you the posting in plain
text. Eg. yours looks like this
