Borland C++ Serial Port communication

Hi @ all,

I've got a problem with serial communication in Borland C++ Builder. I've
already found a
lot of stuff about serial communication in the internet, but it dosen't
work.

What I want to do:

I want to connect only one button to my com port. If the button is pressed,
my program should
do somethink.

That's all.

Can someone explain me, on which two pins at the com port do I have to
connect my button?
Maybe someone can post or mail me a little program that resolve my problem.
I need the
initialisation from the com port and a possibility to read from the comport,
spezially read that
pin, my button is connected to.

I hope, that someone can help me!!

Sorry for my bad english :-\

THX
