Can someone suggest some good web-based material on STL containers?

It depends on what kind of material you are looking for. There is the
Dinkumware web site, with a full documentation of their implementation.
There is of course the good-old SGI site ( http://www.sgi.com/tech/stl ).
But if you are looking for something rather along the lines of a tutorial,
then these pages are not necessarily the best.
