xmlwriter converts & to amp

1 New Member
I have a problem when i use xmlwriter in c#.

Xmlwriter converts character & to letter amp which i don't want.

Anyone knowing how to go around this?

Expand|Select|Wrap|Line Numbers
  1. XmlTextWriter writer = null;
  2.                         writer = new XmlTextWriter(filename, null);
  3.
  4.   // title
  5.                         writer.WriteStartElement("title");
  6.                         writer.WriteString(value1);
  7.                         writer.WriteEndElement();
  8.                         writer.WriteWhitespace("\n");
