telnet over ssl 3.0

6 New Member
Hi,

I need to communicate with a server having the details as mentioned below.

The user must use Telnet/SSL to connect to the server(using a Domain Name System (DNS)) to provide a secure session. His/her Telnet/SSL software must conform to:
• RFC 854 – Telnet Protocol Specification
• SSL 3.0 Specification (http://wp.netscape.com/eng/ssl3) The Telnet/SSL traffic must be transmitted to the server on TCP port 992.

The user may need to provide the following information when he/she is configuring their terminal emulation software.

• Terminal Name. Should be something meaningful
• Terminal Type. Select a member of the Virtual Terminal (VT) family (e.g., VT100 or VT220).
• SSL Version. SSL3. TLS-1 defaults since it is the latest SSL version but SSL-3 must be chosen.
• Port. 992.

• Destination Host Type. Unix.

Please help me.
Language Preferences are c, c++, c#
