Add rows to DataGridView on scroll

4 New Member
Hello!

I have DataGridView control and Hashtable bound to it with rather large amount of data - can contain up to 2000 items. Every row goes with Image, so populating of all that stuff takes lots of time.

In my opinion some obvious ways to optimize this are 1) to paginate flow or 2) to make data added on demand - i.e if you scroll to the bottom of first 500 rows there should appear 500 more (via DataGridView.Scroll Event handler).

I'd love some advices about advantages of both ways, or maybe any ideas about some other tricks to solve the problem..

Ok I got it on my own. The problem was in rows autoresize - turning it off did the trick.
