Problems with PCSC Smart Card API Functions

I am trying to use the PCSC Smart Card API Functions (though WinScard.dll)
and I am having some weird behaviors. First problem is when I try to set the
PreferedProtocol to 0x80000000 (the default PTS) and then connect to the
card it will not work. I have to explicity set it to 2 or 1. Second problem
is when I send commands to the card that I know should work, for instance a
get response of 00C0000000 it just doesn't work. Can someone provide some
insights into these abnormal behaviors?

Thanks

I am having a similar problem. I am getting an error code "1783" that doesnt make any sense. Have you got any response or solution for your problem?
If not we can work together to find one.
Cheers
