drag n drop reordering of CheckBoxList ?

is there any existing functionality of CheckedBoxList that I can use so the
user can drag n drop items within the list to change the order they appear?

What would I have to do, generally?

Assuming you're referring to the CheckBoxList WebControl, you'll have to use
client script:
