Data Grid + Reporting + Excel + PDF

Hello,

We are currently using Crystal Reports as a standalone and generating
reports. We want to move away from using Crstyal completely. I am
wondering what is the best way of doing this in .NET.

We will report from our SQL server database and many fields will be
calculated. As well we will have have to replicate the subreports as
well.

Finally all the reports should be printable (right now, the font is so
small in crystal - 4 point) to fit it on page. I also have to make it
convertable to Excel and to PDF

Any ideas on how to do this? I have tried using data grid but it is not
like a complete table and I need to put some formulas.

Any help would be greatly appreciated

Active Reports is a good alternative.
Its has an OO model.

If you have 2.0 , there is a new Microsoft option.
http://msdn2.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms252073.aspx

http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/d...displaylang=en

it is a downloadable plugin

Google "2.0 reportviewer" or "2.0 report viewer" and you'll find garbles of
info.
