visual studio standalone soap server

Hi,

Does anyone know if its possible to build a standalone
soap service with Visual Studio 2005 ?
Now an amx file is generated for use with IIS.

Hello Rob,

Just create ASP.net Web Service (File->New->Web Site)
Or you meant smth else?

As ar as I could see then IIS is needed.
I want to write a small sop service that could run on
XP clients on an intranet (thus without IIS)
