Aside from using the Excel COM Automation object library or a third party
component, the only remaining way is to set the ContentType MIME header to
its Excel counterpart and get the document to come up in Excel inside the
WebBrowser control. At that point, with Excel hosted inside the browser
container, your user would be able to save the document as XLS.
