Can't edit property in IDE

I have a field in a user control which is a structure. The structure has
three fields, an integer a string and a Boolean. When I put my user control
on a form, the property that references the structure is greyed out, so I
can't set any of the fields of the structure.

Is there something I should be doing to make the fields of my structure
available in the properties editor for a form?

Thanks
Steve

You can use the ExpandableObjectConverter.
