I had a problem with a datagrid a little while ago.
'0' is not a valid value for 'value'. 'value' should be between 'minimum'
and 'maximum'
Strange problem that occured all the time, no adverse effects just that
exception always seemed to be thrown every now and then,
Found this article talking about it:
http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=838087
Applied the fix through SP1 for .NET 1.1. and everything was fine.
However, i'm now running a piece of software with a datagrid (which is what
the SP deems to fix) with DataGridTableStyles, I have a bunch of buttons
above the datagrid. When one of the buttons is pressed the following occurs:
styles are cleared
new style is added
datasource is changed
The issue is, that if it does the above while a cell in the datagrid is
selected then the contents of that cell (the highlighted backcolor of the
cell and the cell's value) NEVER get redrawn. The contents just hang over
the top of any future display until the datagrid is re-created
(this.datagrid1 = new DataGrid()).
Anyone got an idea what is causing this or if there are any further patches
that fix this problem as well?
Kind Regards
Jax
