Selectively hiding buttons in ButtonColumn?

I am using a DataGrid to display images on a webpage. One of the images
is the "default" image for this user.

I have a ButtonColum that allows users to click to make a particular
image their "default" image.

On the row for the current default image I'd prefer to not have a
button, since it's reduntant to have this button in a row for what
already IS their default image.

Is it possible to have a ButtonColumn and programatically determine NOT
to display a button for a particular row? Or do I need to find some
other way to display buttons instead of using a ButtonColumn?

Thanks.
