Form Inheritance and Generics

I am trying to create a base form class that will be inherited. When I add a
generic type parameter to the base form, the inherited form will no longer
show in the designer.

The problem with the designer occurs when I make a Generic declaration. Up
until then the inherited form designs fine:

This is the base form:
public partial class BaseForm<T> : Form
This is the inherited form:
public partial class Form2 : BaseForm<DataSet>

Does anyone have a solution to this?
