Initialization Order

Hi,

In .Net 1.1, I am having a strange problem where the overriden OnLoad()
method of a usercontrol is being called at the end of the
InitializeComponent() method before the logic in the constructor is complete.
If I trace the logic all the way through, it will eventually comeback to the
remain logic in the constructor.

If I put a break on the OnLoad() method it is called durring the last line
of logic in the IntializeComponent() Method. That is,
"this.ResumeLayout(false);" is highlighted green in the debuger.

I have never come across this before, does anyone know why this would happen?

Thanks for the help,
Nejat

The oder of member initialization is the order in which the members are defined. So the following code is problematic: class X{ int i; int j; public: X(int val):j(val),i(j){}
