ListViewItem Forecolor Issue

Hi All,

In .NET 2003, has anybody else seen problems using the ForeColor property of
the ListViewItem?

Basically, I have set the UseItemStyleForSubItems to false, and then want to
set various items/subitems to a different color (say Red for this example) to
highlight any changes made to data.

It always seems to work properly for SubItems (or, if you'd rather, I've
never seen it not work for SubItems), but it is hit and miss for the first
column (either by setting ThisItem.ForeColor or
ThisItem.SubItems[0].ForeColor). Sometimes it shows up in Red, sometimes it
doesn't, and it seems to fluctuate when the control is redrawn. I've
confirmed through Trace that it *thinks* that it should be Red (the ForeColor
property is set properly).

Anybody else see anything like this, and know of a workaround?

Thanks,
PAGates
