snmp in .NET

Hi

I have to receive events (traps) from a network device (rfid reader)
through Simple Network Management Protocol (SNMP).
The network device OID's (Object Identifiers) also need to be set.

The network device has its Management Information Base (MIB)

I know that
Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI) is used for querrying the
devices and for receiving events.

I want to know how to query the device through SNMP from a .NET
application and also receive the events from it using the MIB of the
device.
Or How to use the System.Management and
System.Management.Instrumentation namespaces to perform the above task

This have to be done using c#.net.

I am new to WMI.
I am not able to find any step by step info of how to do this
Can anyone give me a step by step details of how to do this.

Regards,
Prashant Kumar
