Write XML file on remote machine

Hi,
How can I write an XML file on a remote machine in the same network?
I tried passing string "\\machinename\directory\filename.xml" in
XMLTextWriter constructor but it failed even if I had full rights on the
directory.
Thanks

Hi,

I would like to help you but I have a couple of questions. What are you
using to write the XML file.(.ASP, Windows App, Remoting, Web Service, etc.)?
Have you checked the permissions that the process has on the remote machine
(e.g. ASPNET user has write access on the directory that you are attempting
to create the file in)? What is the exact error message that you are getting
when you attempt this call.

Please reply to this post so the group may help you better.

Thanks
