Debug code in reference file?

I'm working on debugging someone else's project in C# .NET. As I open the
project, I see there is a reference to "webutilities". This is a file called
webutilities.dll. When I open a certain page in the web project, I get an
error...I believe the code in this .dll is causing the error. Is there a
way that I can find out how this file, webutilities.dll, was created? I
need to go over all the code in this file and I can't seem to find out how
it was created.

I'm new to .NET. I did a search of the entire hard drive of the PC the
other programmer was using for anything like "webutilities"...hoping to find
some C# project that he used to compile the .dll...no luck. Are there any
tools that I can use to help me out? Any insight would be greatly
appreciated!
