Multiple "Single Inheritance" ISerialization initialization problems

This is what I am trying to do:

public abstract class A : ISerializable
{
public A(SerializationInfo info, StreamingContext context){}
public void GetObjectData(SerializationInfo info, StreamingContext
context) {}
}

public abstract class B : A, ISerializable
{
*** ISerialization members goes here ***
}

public abstract class C : B, ISerializable
{
*** ISerialization members goes here ***
}

public class D : C, ISerializable
{
*** ISerializable members goes here ***
}

In the GetObjectData() of class B, C, and D, I have this line in it:
base.GetObjectData(). The problem with this is, when the
D.GetObjectData() is called, class A.GetObjectData() is called, thus
the ISerialization members of class B and C are ignored. I want the
ISerialization members of B and C to be called. What did I do wrong?
