New .NET website

Hi all,

We are starting a new C# and .NET in general article publishing website.

You can see it here www.developerland.com

We are looking for article contributors and reviewers; If you have written
and published articles on other websites you are more than welcome to
republish them in DeveloperLand.
Also if you have written a book or have a cool product , please send us a
review and we will publish it on our website.;)

The site is still being developed and more content is added every day , so I
would like to know your opinions!

The first question I have is why you think another such website is
necessary - what's going to be different about it?

Having said that, you're welcome to republish whatever you like from my
website: http://www.pobox.com/~skeet/csharp

Please include a link back to the original though, as I quite often
tweak them.

Noting Jon's comments I might add a warning to avoid copy
and paste from MSDN which is what I have found all too often
at many 'developer' sites who take content from MSDN and
add nothing to it. Makes me want to slap em' upside the head.

Good luck in your endeavors...

MSDN -- everything else is purely optional ;-) ;-)

There seem to be hundreds around, to be honest. I don't regularly read
any of them - I just see them when either a link is posted or if I'm
searching for the answer to something.

The more sites there are, the more users need to:

a) Sort out duplicates
b) Work out which sites are worth reading
c) Go to different sites to find answers

I'd rather have a few really good sites covering everything between
them, but with little duplication, than hundreds of sites with a load
of duplicates etc.
