This is what I want to do:
I want to create a UserControl that will hold a grid. This
UserControl will be used specifically to display data about users,
with that data appearing in the grid. However, various forms that
make use of this UserControl may require that the double click event
of the grid that is on the UserControl do different actions. For
example: When the UserControl is used on "form1", and a user double
clicks on a user in the grid I want an "Edit User" form to open; When
the same UserControl is used on "form2", and a user double clicks on a
user in the grid I want a "Manage User Permissions" form to open.
I am wondering if there is a way to expose the doubleclick event of
the grid that is on the UserControl to the form that is using the
UserControl. Something like:
<form1 code>
....
....
this.UserControl1.Grid.DoubleClick += new
System.EventHandler(this.form1usercontrolgrid_Doub leClick);
....
....
</form1 code>
Any help anyone could offer would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you,
